A little about me...
Wayne obtained his CGA designation in 1992 and has over 35 years of public practice experience. He has been a partner in a national CGA firm in the past and has been running his own practice for more than 20 years.
His clients are private enterprises, and operate in various industries. Wayne’s strengths are in working with owners on corporate restructuring, succession & estate planning, and both personal & corporate tax planning.
In his free time, Wayne enjoys travelling and spending time with his grandson and granddaughter.

A little about me...
Janice was born and raised on the North Shore and couldn’t think of a better place to be!
Janice graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2004 and joined one of the “big-four” accounting and tax firms in Toronto where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007.
Janice has been working in Vancouver since 2012, and partnered with Cahill CPA in 2013. She brings over 20 years of experience and especially enjoys helping clients with a variety of tax planning. She specializes in estate & trusts, as well as succession & estate planning.
Janice likes to play tennis and travel- her favourite destinations include Turkey and Kenya. She and her husband have two young children, and live in North Vancouver.

Taylor Cahill

A little about me...
Taylor provides comprehensive tax and financial services for small and medium sized businesses, personal tax and other advisory services. He is the firm’s financial controller and in charge of the development and implementation of long term technology initiatives for the company.
Living in North Vancouver, mountain biking is certainly one of his biggest passions. Besides accounting, Taylor has a keen interest in stock trading, exploring BC’s North, and spending time with his three brothers.

Matthew Jacquet

A little about me...
Matthew has been with Cahill CPA since 2013, and became a partner in 2021. He focuses on helping small businesses through controllership and bookkeeping solutions to minimize their taxes and stay on track with periodic filings.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Laurentian University and qualified for his CPA and CGA designation in 2014.
Matthew and his family including Cola the black goldendoodle (who you may sometimes spot at the office) live on Bowen Island where they enjoy the outdoors and spending time at the beach in the summer.

Tony Elliott

A little about me...
Tony has been with Cahill CPA since 2018, and became a partner in 2021.
Tony grew up in Coquitlam BC before travelling to North Dakota where he spent four years playing on the varsity golf team and earning his bachelor of science with a focus on accounting and finance.
He then returned home and articled at a national CA firm in Vancouver before receiving his designation as a Chartered Accountant in 2014. Throughout his career he has gained extensive experience in audit & assurance, financial statement preparation, and both personal and corporate taxes.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife Lindsay and their dog Carl, staying active through playing baseball, golf, and hockey, playing the guitar, and spending time out on the boat and up at the family cabin.

Shannon Hampton

A little about me...
Shannon is originally from a small town in California and has an Associate’s Degree in Accounting.
Shannon owned and operated her own business for ten years. She had two retail locations along with a production facility where she manufactured and designed candles.
Shannon brings energy & enthusiasm to our team, and is excited to be part of the Cahill family business. Her number one priority is to ensure every client has a great experience.
Shannon and her husband currently live in North Vancouver and they enjoy taking advantage of all the beautiful trails the North Shore has to offer with their dachshund, Peanut. She also enjoys running and spending time with her family.

Bianca Eloff

A little about me...
Bianca is originally from Richards Bay, South Africa and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Sciences as well as a post-graduate diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences. She articled at a public practice firm and obtained her Chartered Accountant designation through the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in July 2018. Bianca and her husband relocated to North Vancouver with their pets in February 2019 and they enjoy exploring all the beautiful nature trails close to their new home. In her spare time Bianca enjoys reading books, cycling and spending time with friends and family.

Marek Zhanel

A little about me...
Marek obtained his CGA designation in 2004 and has worked in public practice since 2001. As Senior Tax Manager, he advises private Canadian businesses and their owners on corporate reorganizations, succession and estate planning, and the purchase and sale of businesses. Marek combines in-depth technical knowledge with a practical approach, helping clients deal with complex tax issues and make well-informed decisions. He particularly enjoys developing solutions that balance tax efficiency with each client’s broader commercial and personal objectives. Marek lives on the North Shore and enjoys classical music, reading and travelling.

A little about me...
Christopher graduated from Simon Fraser University and received an Honours with Distinction BBA degree in both Accounting and Finance. He received both the President’s Honour Roll & the Dean’s Honour Roll during his studies.
Chris joined the Cahill CPA team in 2017 as an articling student and qualified for his CPA designation in 2019. He is an excellent asset to Cahill CPA, bringing experience in a variety of areas after working at various roles in industry, as well as being a taxpayer’s service agent at the CRA.
In his current role, Chris provides clients with personal & corporate tax solutions and assists with financial statement preparation, both at the compilation and review engagement level.
Chris is an avid sports fan and car enthusiast, and enjoys playing golf and watching movies during his spare time.

A little about me...
Julia grew up in Ontario, graduated from the University of Waterloo, and received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management.
After completing her undergraduate degree, she then received her Master of Accounting at the University of Waterloo. After finishing her studies, she moved to British Columbia and fell in love with the mountains and has not looked back.
Julia lives in North Vancouver, and in her free time she loves snowboarding, going on long runs and spending time with her boyfriend and their fur baby, Crook.

Bryan Chan

A little about me...
Bryan was born and raised in Hong Kong and graduated with First Class Honors from the City University of Hong Kong, earning a BBA degree in Finance. He began his career in public practice, where he completed his articling and obtained his CPA designation from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2017.
With over a decade of experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory services in Hong Kong, Bryan relocated to Canada and earned his CPA designation from CPA Canada in 2024. He is passionate about tax planning and research, and is dedicated to building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with his clients.
Bryan currently resides in Burnaby. In his free time, he enjoys playing badminton, practicing Thai boxing, scuba diving, skiing, and exploring the outdoors with his wife and their Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Baileys.

Dave is a long-time North Shore resident.

In his free time, Dave spends as much time as possible out on the trails or ascending/descending the local hills.

Quinn completed his Bachelors Degree at Simon Fraser University in 2020.
He is the youngest of the four Cahill brothers, and has been working with the firm since 2017. He works with clients, helps with the preparation of tax returns, and performs bookkeeping services.
In his spare time, Quinn enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to movies, or participating in & watching sports.

A little about me...
Claire grew up in beautiful Jeju Island in South Korea.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Tourism Management. She completed DAP (Diploma in Accounting) at UBC and continues her study at CPA Western School of Business as a CPA candidate.
She recently moved to the North Shore when joining the Cahill team in August 2020.
Claire loves playing tennis, hiking and cycling with her fiancé.

Matthew grew up in Port Moody, BC, has completed his Bachelor’s in Accounting Degree from BCIT and is working towards becoming a CPA. He works with clients, helps prepare tax returns, and performs bookkeeping services. Growing up in Port Moody, BC, Matthew enjoys being active and plays sports year-round.

A little about me...
Nadia has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. After spending five years in a customer service and accounts receivable role, she decided to pursue her passion in accounting by returning to school at Capilano University to complete the prerequisites for the CPA program. She is currently enrolled at the Western School of Business to complete her CPA designation.
After growing up in the Fraser Valley, Nadia now lives in North Vancouver. In her spare time she can be found gravel biking with her partner on Fisherman’s Trail, or biking on the road to Isetta Cafe. She also competes as an amateur boxer, with a current record of 4-0.

When he’s not immersed in numbers, Cameron enjoys the serenity of hiking in the breathtaking North Shore mountains, striking a balance between his professional ambitions and love for the great outdoors.

A little about me...
Vaneet grew up in Houston, British Columbia, with her family. After graduating from high school, she relocated to Kelowna, where she completed the Business Administration program with a major in Management at Okanagan University.
Vaneet joined the Cahill CPA team in 2016 and has worked with clients across a wide range of industries, including ophthalmology, advertising, charitable organizations, and healthcare. Through this experience, she has developed a strong understanding of client needs and enjoys helping businesses stay organized and confident in their financial information.
In 2024, Vaneet transitioned into the role of Accounting Technician. Drawing on her administrative and management background, she is committed to providing exceptional client service with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail. She takes pride in building strong relationships and helping clients navigate their accounting needs with friendly, reliable support.
Outside the office, Vaneet enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the movies, and trying new recipes in the kitchen.

Sohel Rana

A little about me...
Sohel Rana was born and raised in Bangladesh, a vibrant and culturally rich country in South Asia. He earned his undergraduate degree from a respected public university and began his career by gaining valuable experience with a Big Four accounting firm and several multinational organizations. In 2023, Sohel made the move to beautiful British Columbia to pursue his MBA at University Canada West. In March 2025, he joined Cahill as a Staff Accountant, where he continues to contribute and grow within a collaborative team environment. Sohel is currently working toward his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation to further his professional development. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring Canada’s natural beauty, travelling, and spending quality time with his family.

A little about me...
Max grew up in many places during his youth. Starting in Kitchener, Ontario, and after moving five times, he and his family settled down on the beautiful shore of North Vancouver. Out of all the places Max has lived, Vancouver is by far his favourite.
He obtained a bachelor’s degree in business from Capilano University and will soon begin pursuing his CPA designation through the Western School of Business.
Max loves outdoor activities and sports. His favourite hobbies include hockey, golf, soccer, hiking and running. On the weekends, you will commonly see Max running on the Ambleside seawall or trekking up the Grouse Grind.

A little about me...
Gracey has a diploma in administration and fashion business.
She grew up on the North Shore and has traveled all around the world (as travel has always been one of her biggest passions).
Now that she has decided to settle down she thinks that Cahill CPA is the perfect fit for her. She looks forward to growing with the company and continuing building relationships with clients and staff.
Gracey’s two favourite pastimes outside of work are hiking with her dog and trying new restaurants around the city.

A little about me...
Chantelle has a diploma in professional hairstyling, but she found a love for administration. She was born and raised on the North Shore and can’t imagine living elsewhere. You will see her at the front desk, ready to greet you with a warm welcome! Outside the office, Chantelle likes to spend time with her family and friends; getting food, taking day trips out of the North Shore or trying new activities like the Extreme air-park. She is grateful to have found Cahill and excited to see herself grow with the company!

A little about me...
Alisson has a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
She grew up in El Salvador and now calls Vancouver home. She loves the great views of mountains and ocean, especially in the North Shore.
You’ll find Alisson at the front desk, ready to greet you with a smile and assist with anything you need and remind you to grab a candy, as Alisson believes small gestures of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s day.
Outside of work, she likes to stay active, explore new places, and treat herself to something sweet.
